NZ Design

Stuff.

Offerings by Designworks, this is the branding selling NZ to the world. From their site:

'Brand New Zealand- Selling more than scenery'

'A joint initiative between New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and Tourism New Zealand, our task was to create one international facing brand to represent New Zealand's people, places and products to the world; a unifying brand to help build, promote and reinforce New Zealand's reputation wherever we appear offshore.'

What do you think?

I'm liking the branding for the Zealandia project. 'Noice'.

Totally loving the 'sneaky semiotics' going on in this image. I love Anika Moa.

I just love packaging design. 'Loud n Lola'- gorgeous

These are xmas card designs - screen- prints. The 'x' looks 'Sowersby' inspired.

Massey student Amber-Jean Hornsby won gold at the Best Awards for this (see Emil Ruder's Typographie book below)

This won gold at the Besties too for the interactive section. The client was Auckland Museum.

The Supreme Court spatial design is freakin awesome. Though I don't know who could concentrate well in such a setting.

Love this from Swordfox Design. Would be nice to see more collaborative work, or just work that references Aotearoa indigenous design tradition.

This Re-brand job is from DNA. I like the font but I'm feeling like the whole look is almost 'disguising' something. It is a beautiful logotype & overall the brand is dynamic.
